그 참혹한 역사속에서 강제결혼을 해도, 성폭행을 당해도 여성들의 참혹한 삶은 어디에도 기록되지 않아요. 이 사실은 우리를 두렵게 만들기도 한다고 영화에서 말하고 있어요.
제주 4·3을 여성의 시각에서 기록한 <목소리들>은 우리에게 4·3이 어떻게 기억되어야 하는지에 대해 깊은 울림을 주고 있어요.
